Summertime is on its way to good ol’ Winston-Salem, and we want to help you kick it off the right way. Here are just a few ways to celebrate summer in June.
Industry Hill is the new business district north of downtown. It’s home to small businesses, breweries, entrepreneurship organizations, and community service organizations, all who are dedicated to supporting economic development in Winston-Salem by turning a sleepy, overlooked part of town into accessible, high impact businesses.
The Winston Junction Market, Krankies Craft Fair, and some of Winston’s favorite breweries and food as we shut down 9th Street to host plenty of food trucks, entertainment, and local vendors. We’ll there to mix and mingle with our neighbors, and we hope to see you, too!

Are you a pro picker? A thrift finder? An up-cycler? Man, oh, man. Do we have the event for you, friends. Plan on sleeping in and then shopping at the Triad’s largest yard sale at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds on June 15th, 2019! Guests can start bargain hunting at 9am (for those of you who aren’t savvy yard-sale-goers, that’s late in the day for a bonafide yard sale), but be sure to get there in time to shop the sale before it closes at 1:00pm! What better way to spend a summer Friday or a lunch break than with food trucks and music in Winston-Salem’s beautiful Bailey Park? June’s Food Truck Friday will feature local hip-hop and R&B artists and some of Winston’s favorite food trucks. Swing by anytime between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm.
